Thoughts on recent plamos

Speaking of plamos, after the All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2012, lot's of new plamos shows up there. I have to say, the ones that shows up were incredibly enticing. Even so, due to my limited budget, I'm limiting my "must get list" to just 3. Here they are by order of priorities:

3) MG Nu Gundam ver. Ka

Articulated fingers (said to be even better than the last PG fingers), action bases for the Fin Funnels, the incredible look (multiple similar color like RG!?), a total WANT. I kinda felt that Bandai actually does need to make a "MG 2.0" version of the Nu at this exact moment, before the momentum of the RG line start to reach the CCA timeline. I am also wondering what the RG will do to surpass this incredible MG. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I can save that amount of money by the end of the year.

2) EF-2000 Typhoon
Finally we get the release date and confirmation for which color it'll show up. Typhoon looked really impressive, and the weapons included are all awesome even on their own. The improvement from Kotobukiya's Takemikazuchi to Shiranui Niigata was pretty impressive. Can't wait to see what they have in store for use, though I definitely would be satisfied if they keep the quality on par with that of Niigata. I'm putting this in higher priority than Nu ver. Ka since missing Nu on release isn't really a big deal, but missing Typhoon first release here, and I might have a hard time getting it after that.

1) RG Z Gundam

This is probably a given knowing how much of a RG fanboy I am (The last three kits I've built back-to-back are all RG (Mk-II Titans, Mk-II AEUG, Justice)). Getting this one is a must. I'll admit that I'm kinda afraid that the full transformation gimmick might hurt the kit's stability or made some parts fragile, but if Bandai actually managed to pull it off, then perhaps the word "Evolution" isn't simply just a word Bandai used to hype this kit. I'm expecting the best but prepared for the worst.

Also, speaking of RG, I just finished building RG Justice (haven't put the decal yet though). Absolutely loved the details.

Will make a Gallery post about RG Justice (and maybe review) soon.

    1. Knowing how Kotobukiya's Muv Luv kits releases... yeah, we can expect that.
